2012 Marketing Trends, Secret to Working at Home, Kindle Fire

Before heading to the grandparents from Christmas I decided to do the video above so that I could share three things with you:

#1: My Secret to Working at Home
My income comes from three primary revenue streams. As a service professional I generate anywhere between $45 and $5000 per web / graphics design project and/or web consultation package I offer to internet entrepreneurs who either want me to develop their website or teach them about online marketing. Overtime I expanded my service business by self publishing startup ebooks and ecourses. Last but not least, I keep my income steady with the help of affiliate programs and adsense revenue which brings in thousands of extra dollars for me each year.

If you want to work at home consider becoming a service professional and/or getting into the digital information & sales game.

#2: 2012 Marketing Trends
Kindles, iPads, Facebook, Youtube … we live in a mobile world and that means you have to get with the times. If you are still struggling to figure out youtube marketing, twitter marketing, ebook sales, and everything in between your online business won’t survive in 2012. This past year my businesses have grown in customer size and online visibility mainly through my (300+ free employees aka my youtube videos that sell for me 24/7) and marketing via the blog and facebook. #3 Kindle Fire for $50
As a mom / entrepreneur I am often torn between those things I need for my house and family vs those things that I need for myself and my business. I really wanted the Kindle Fire for Christmas, so I decided to take a page out of my own book … In the Socials and Sales issue of SistaSense In print magazine I have an article about how to find “Hidden Cash in Your Closet.” Sometimes we buy things we never get a chance to use, so I went in my closet and looked for items purchased in the last 90 days that I never used, were unopened and had receipts …. in a few hours and after a few returns I had $150! I added just $50 to it and was able to get my Kindle for Christmas. We have to be smart about our finances and stretch the money that we have, but we also need to treat ourselves AND our businesses.
