I’m a work at home mom. I have a natural hair and skincare business I started in Feb 2004. I’m working on the relaunch of the Black Work @ Home Moms Network. After 4 years of letting it do nothing, I”m back with a new found joy and excitement. My dream is still the same and now I’m ready to watch it come to fruition.

  2. Tieast says:

I’m Tieast. I’m just became a stay at home mom who wants to remain a stay at home. I am about to launch/re-launch a skincare line based on natural ingredients and I also design and make handcrafted jewelry using semi-precious metals and stones. My first venture at this was not successful due to my lack of marketing and focus, but this time around I don’t want to make the same mistakes. I want to get focused, learn what it takes to get out there and do what it takes to get and keep customers.

  3. wirequeen says:

Ok, I’m up for the challenge. Show me how I can generate enough cash to join the the Sistersense circle. My business has to pay for itself. I am at startup again after many years of battling several heavy duty illness.

I cannot longer do shows and artfairs as I have in the past, so I have to make online work.

  4. bebetosi says:

I’m really enjoying the audios. They are very informative. I really like lesson # 4 about Owning your own Social Media. I’m about to launch my website and want to have a place where my market can come and interact with others, but not sure what kind of forum would be appropriate for my market (Blog, Ning, etc.). I’m interested in learning more about that. Can’t wait to hear the next one.

I have taken this challenge because I needed that extra push. I’m a serious researcher and remember running across you in 2007. Your on point with your info. I’ve been reading your articles & watching your videos.

I too am an info junkie, but I really need to start sharing and giving these blessings away. On top on all this info, I have the ultimate way of helping people start business online for free. http://www.WeZamZuuDoU.biz

It’s perfect for Newbies as well as established Fundraisers, Churches, Personal usage and Business Owners. Plus not only do they receive cash back and/or commission on everything you could possible buy online, but so do their customers. That is the WIN-WIN everyone wants! However, the vechile is useless if no one knows about it. So I want to just get this out to the public.

  20. LDFaygo says:

  25. bossresumes says:

Hello, My name is Lenora Johnson, I am a 41 year old mom of 4 children; 22, 13, 6, and 5. I a live and provide résumé marketing tools locally Chicagoland and on the internet at http://www.bossresumes.com and http://www.bossjobboard.com

I started my first site in 2003, and began writing résumé services professional in 2006. My first résumé was written for relatives at 16 years old. At 17 years old, I knew that I would and wanted to help others find jobs and soon after I began as a beginner resume writing and mastered interviewing.

Locally, it is very easy to locate your market and then service them. Online marketing and storefront operations is different. I signed up to allow a professional at internet marketing, teach me the things I need to know about online marketing and anything else for that matter.

I obtained a link to your site from PARW which I had become a member of in 2006. I clicked THAT link, I was overwhelmed and glad that an African American did her thing! After that very favorite bookmark, I have been hooked.

Your talent is great, and the fact that you can hold and audience with substance and content is excellent. As an entrepreneur, we try to wear many hats. The marketing hat I wear says, “It’s time to learn from someone else what online marketing is really about”

  26. marquette parker says:

    Hello! Hello!

I am sooo excited that it’s overwhelming. I have been browsing all of your sites and reading your work and watching your videos for over a week. Im an aspiring business owner trying to lauch my own wig line geared towards women with medical needs. I’ve been trying to get started but there is so much information to soak up and reasearch to be done I was not sure where to start and thus far your whealth of information has been great boost! I started on this journey because my best friend has alopecia and she is only 28 and I have watched her buy coutless wigs that just don’t suit her or fit her needs medically so I started making wigs for her. I consider myself a self made cosmotologist (smile). I have never worked in a salon nor do I desire to but I love love love hair and over the years I have educated myself about wigs and hair care. I have always wanted to start a business pertaining to hair in some way but I was never sure what it would be so I just opted to continue school untill I could figure that part out. To my surprise, after I started to make wigs for my friend and a few for myself, I started getting a few request here and there from other women who wanted me to turn thier expensive weaving hair into a wig and it has turned into a small side hustle. I love making people look good and making a differnce in the lives of others.

    Greetings LaShanda!

I just began my new direct sales business about two weeks ago and I found you when I was looking for black women entrepreneurs on Twitter last week. I just love your Spirit! I am a single mom, unschooling my 10 year old daughter and unemployed, so I am definitely on a shoestring budget. I began a blog about my unschooling journey last month so I’m still learning how to blog, but within a week I got a Facebook Page for my business, a blog for the business, Twitter account for the business, domain name, an email account and I joined your affiliate program this afternoon. Whew! You see, I’m listening. I’m just not sure if I can keep up! LOL! I’m technically challenged, so I ask that you move at a slower pace for me okay? LOL!

    Infinite Love and Gratitude,
    Tangela

This will help me in the long run, that I do know. So, keep the videos and information comin’ I’m ready!

    Infinite Love and Gratitude,

    LaShanda,

    I was skeptical of you at first, followed you and read about you for two whole years before getting to this point! I finally took the challenge to put myself and business on the map! You gave me inspiration and hope to do it. Three other things that made me want to buy your Seven Day Challenge was;

    1. I saw the over flowing growth of your BBWO website it was astounding and had all the perks of a very well ran social network site!

    2. You are a mother just like me (I’m a mother of 10)and yes still young just like you, which is what motivated me to know that you did all of your work right from your computer.

    3. You cared enough about your sistas to share your wealth of knowledge, you could have put a price on every thing but you saw that we needed your help! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  53. Natalie says:

    Hi LaShanda,

Right now I’m working with my husband on building our own little empire using MLM,though we have a lofty goal which I believe we could achieve we are doing all of the wrong things, but shhhh don’t tell him I told you. It was after showing my husband one of my first test run videos to add to our “in the future” websites that he said; “you see what you really like doing is marketing and selling but you’re just scared to do it.” and that’s when for the first time I said; “honey I think you may be right.” Just then I realized with all the stuff I dabbled in I really liked business building, marketing and OH MY GOD could you believe it, selling, I just didn’t know how to do it the right way and that’s why I’m here. I look forward to learning the right way.

    Natalie

I am recently laid off from a well paying job. While I was working I would sit at my desk thinking of all the businesses I could run for myself….now that I am home I spend the day applying for jobs to work for someone else. Taking the seven day challenge will give me a push towards getting my thoughts on paper and possibly implementing an idea. I actually already have one client so I know its doable, but I want to polish it and myself for expansion.

Hi Lashunda. I’m a married mother of one son and a dog working a network marketing business. Although I have awesome training and leadership, I ran into your site today just from browsing around and you definitely peaked my interest for the subject at hand. That being said, I still safely decided to tread the waters and purchased the 7 Day Challenge. I purchased it because
    1. I am always willing to learn from those who know more than me.
    2. It put me in the mind of what my company is doing to help people earn money while they get healthier.
    3. Because I am in direct sales, my business is duplicated by those who are already involved in my company so I’m very interested to see how this challenge helps someone in my position reach out to the world of dot.com

I am an independent sale consultant for Scentsy Wickless Candles. I emailed my friends about my new site. I informed my facebook friends and I added a separate facebook site for my business. I have place catalogs at church, school, and hairdresser. I have participated in two fairs. I hope this challenge can help me to get more online business and recruits.
