3 Ways to Turn Ideas into Income: How I Got Started Making Money Online

At first, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I just knew that I didn’t want to work a 9-to-5 anymore. I wanted to figure out how to make money online. One of the first questions that I asked myself as an entrepreneur was, “What can I do with these two hands that people would pay me for?” I quickly realized people were taking notice of my digital skills, so I began to offer done-for-you web and graphic design services. Writing do-it-yourself how-to ebooks is another income stream that I’ve tapped into over the years. People will pay for the same content in different ways, so take a good look at the kinds of things your target audience wants to learn. You can do it for them, do it with them, and also show them how to do it themselves by writing instructional books. I am always getting questions that start with the words, “How do you …?” I then sit down, write down my process for accomplishing that task and then turn that process into a digital product with profit potential. Ebooks are one of the easiest digital products to quickly create, self-publish and scale. Between individual ebook sales and digital bundles, I’ve sold my eBooks for anywhere between $1 and $100. As my business grew, it wasn’t long before I attracted the attention of other aspiring entrepreneurs interested in duplicating my success; using my journey as a blueprint for their own. Out of a growing demand to get on the phone with me, I began to lead clarity calls, offering one-on-one sessions for clients in need of direct access and support.
