Challenge #2: Where do you start?

On my list of challenges that entrepreneurs face, I put finding customers at #1 and figuring out where to start … well that’s definitely #2. I’m truly an ADD Entrepreneur sometimes *lol* but this is what I do to find my focus and starting point:

1. First and Foremost I always have a notebook
2. I quickly jot down a to do list (don’t think too hard just write)
3. I divide the list into do now, do later, do it if I canDo Now’s are customers and things that will definitely generate money
   Do Later’s are emails I should read but can wait
   Do if I can is anything optional, especially the COOL things that look interesting but I DON’T have to do just that minute

Then I look at my Do Now list and jump in until I’ve eaten it all up. A lot of times folks ask me how I do it all and honestly my Nike Commercial answer is “I just do it.” If you beat yourself down… if you focus on what other folks are doing … if you lose focus … if you lose faith … you won’t get anywhere.

‘Doing IT’ what ever that may be isn’t easy, so don’t feel bad if you need to give yourself an EXTRA PUSH to get off your butt and get things done. Just make sure that YOU give yourself that push and don’t wait for others to do it for you.

FYI: Like it or not I always do the fun stuff last as my motivation to get to the finish line. Make your list and I guarentee you that I you start to check things off you will feel accomplished and energized to do the next thing!
