If you want to generate more traffic to your blog, here are a few great tips I found on problogger.com

1. Join StumbleUpon.com
   This site allows you to rate other sites and share them with others. I created a stumble upon account: Mahogany Momma and it helps to regularly add a few extra clicks to my sites. The key to this site is giving quality recommendations, ratings, and insight. You might find members with similar interests, which can help to create new viewers for you or potential networks.
2. Comment on other people’s blogs: Though I must admit, I write/design more than I comment, I have been meaning to get into the habit of regularly commenting on more blogs as it’s a great way to become a more visible part of the blog community you are trying to tap into and it’s a great way to take advantage of another blogs site traffic, to help promote your own. My only recommendation is that you avoid shameless site plugs in excess, and try to write genuine comments that really reflect the post and not just your desire for exposure.
