I’m Tiffani Oates, CEO/Publisher of The Black Pages Today Network http://www.blackpagestodaynetwork.com I have listened to my visitors and members(200,000 Worldwide) (over 5 million visitors in 2007), Plus changing our New York Site To A Hip Hop format.

Our visitors have spoken with their pocketbooks, by buying record number of items from Wal-Mart, Target, Avon, and Google. I am challegening them to step up to the plate and spend some of that cash with Black Female Owned Businesses. I feel it is time for less talk and more action.

At the same time I am offering all Black Female Owned Businesses the opportunity to shine in front of these visitors. Starting January 2008, I will post any BFOB in one of 5(Positive Black Sistas Business Directories) for a fee of $10.00 Annually. I will profile one(1) BFOB every week in our newsletter.

I challenge BFBO to get listed. Its real simple.. For $10.00, They can get in front of a captive audience to help make their businesses grow.

In 2008, I plan on taking my website further. I’m in the business of seeking God to give me the strategy of being a success at home. Income potential of course I want that to be high and unlimited. But I pray daily that God will keep me motivated and focused.

  3. Rhonda Holmes says:

I’m a professional wedding photographer in NC. Part of my marketing strategy for 2008 is to increase networking with other local vendors in the wedding industry. I was previously relying on WOM from prior clients and internet advertising. I now understand the importance of networking and will make it a major aspect of my marketing strategy for 2008.

  4. Stacey Mathis says:

I own Stacey Mathis Copywriting which crafts marketing material for businesses and organizations that target parents (e.g., brochures for nursery schools, etc.).

My mantra for 2008 is “follow-through, no matter what.”

In 2008 to make my business grow, I plan to:

    -Maintain a newsletter

    -Post regularly on my blog:
    http://marketingtoparents.blogspot.com

-Upload and regularly update a website portfolio of my material

    -Collect more testimonials

-Accomplish more email-marketing and article marketing

-Keep up with the proliferation of Web 2.0 as it relates to marketing and copywriting
