The Buy Black Collective is a new group on Black Business Women Online. The group concept is actually quite interesting and unique, it’s all about us entrepreneurs supporting each other and really making the most our Black Buying Potential. Here are the details:
Looking to gain clients and connections for your business? Here’s an opportunity for all BBWO members to gain growing clientèle, increase sales, and wield success while empowering each other!
Each week we will choose one of the companies listed in this discussion to lend a helping hand- whether that means we become your company’s promotional team, or your clients, and/or feedback group, etc. You don’t have to promote your own business if you don’t want to, you can suggest someone else’s, however we want to limit each submission to One Business per Member per Cycle.
What’s a Cycle?: The time is takes for all the businesses listed to receive support. If you are requesting that a business receive support in the middle of the current cycle, you’ll have to wait until the next cycle to receive support. It’s like a Susu. The date of the next cycle will be listed for everyone.
What types of Businesses can be listed?: You can list any kind of business, as long as it is Black Owned and online. Black owned means that the founder and person who makes the executive decisions of the company are of African descent ( and I don’t mean the first human was found in Africa so we are all of African descent. I am talking about ” I have to check black on this application in order to receive financial aid”).
So please list your company and also also answer the following:

I think buying black is important because it instills a feeling of confidence in black business owners and allows us to reinvest in our communities.
I’ve always thought that networking was a good way to stay connected and prosper within the community.Whether or not it be living or business. I’m just glad to see my sisters doing what other communities have been doing for so long. This is one of the reasons I joined BBWO.
I’m over joyed to be part of a network that is supporting from within. For years I have wanted to part of a community comes together s one with the same end result in mind.As a small business owner it not only helps me finacially be gives me hope to know that I have a network of Black Women behind me. Thank you ladies for the work your doing.
