Hello my fellow black sistas. I am 25 a single mother of two, and I live in Syracuse, New York. I would like to open up a black beauty supply store in my community. I plan on when I start my business to mentor my black young girls in my community. When I look around I see the destruction of our black people. I see ignorance, where they glorify the street life and drop out of school before the can really learn how to read or do basic math. I am the first person in my family to graduate High School, and I am the eldest of seven sisters. I know it is my responisiblity not only to them but to all my misguided black sistas. I knew how to braid since I was 5 years old and supported my self through college by braiding and weaving hair. I want to start this business to show my sistas in my community that you can come from the Hood and still own something, without doing something illegal. Please sistaz please help me!!!! where should I start???
