A Mompreneurs Favorite: HP Pavilion Laptops

The SistaSense blog is filled with my money and marketing secrets, so I figured it was time to (do something different and start sharing more of my tech secrets too! I know quite a few web entrepreneurs in my circle who want to know the electronic gadgets I use and the software programs that make my web world complete, so while I usually leave the tech talk inside of SistaSense Magazine its got a new home here on the SistaSense blog!

As a mobile mompreneur, traveling light is never an option for me. My laptop bag is generally chock full of cables and two (yes) two laptops. After I accidentally dropped my favorite HP laptop and broke the screen (details here), I decided to by another HP Pavilion for a few reasons:

• They are made to last  (I’ve owned my 1st HP for going on 6 years now)
• They are durable (I can’t believe the one I dropped on concrete still works like a charm)
• They are affordable (I can also find a nice HP with everything I want for about $500)

I generally travel with both of them because the old one has all my favorite software on it. My new HP Pavilion has all the bells and whistles that I need – wifi, a web cam, an ethernet slot, usb ports and a wonderful wide screen! It comes with Windows 7 too. Aside from the time it took to reinstall some of my frequently used software programs on it, its perfect.
