Quite of few of you have asked me questions about blogging for profit and/or seriously generating income from your blog. I’ll be posting a few articles on the topic, but I think I’ll also put together a video training series (new blogging ecourse). I’m a visual learner and I imagine you might be too! Anyhoo, if you are going to build your website by yourself using wordpress, I suggest you do two things:
- Brand Your Blog (pay for a nice theme if you can)
- Review FREE Premium WordPress Themes (if you can’t)
A BIG part of your blog’s appeal and personality is the theme that you select, so don’t take this task lightly. I changed my Sistassense theme at least three times before I fell in love with this one. And truth be told, I didn’t like the theme as I got it, so I’ve been changing it to my taste for months now.
Kind of like a house, your blog will be your virtual home. You won’t be able to upgrade it like you like at first, but work on it and it will grow to be the Home of Your Dreams in no time!
