L. Martin Johnson Pratt and The ILuvBlackWomen Phenomenon

In addition to the fact that Black Girls Rock (that’s right, I’m gonna shout this out all week)… the strong black men out their who support, stand by and LOVE Black Women ROCK even more! Sistas know it ain’t easy to find and keep a good black man who isn’t already taken so AMEN to the ones that we have.

I am not ranting… I was just reading one of my favorite black technology blogs – Black Web 2.0 and saw they recently featured a good friend of mind, L. Martin Pratt the creator of ILuvBlackWomen. Martin is one of the very cool dudes in my circle. He has been supporting my websites like msoyonline.com since back in 2000! Lord knows he remembers more of my web content than I do (lol).

Busy as I am, it was only till very recently that I looked up from my computer and actually connected with Martin who had me as a guest on his radio show twice! When I went to NY (picture here), I got to meet him in person and that was my 1st official time in a radio studio (very cool). I met the two beautiful black women in his life, his wife and daughter and he got to meet my boys (my hubby and little chris).

We talked tech and had a blast! Definitely read this article to learn more about this amazing black technology, social media pioneer in my circle. As I mentioned in a previous target marketing post, even though I talk alot about women entrepreneurs of color, I work with quite a few very cool black men entrepreneurs too!

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all the brothas in my circle like Lamar Tyler, Martin Pratt, Shelby Hill, Iceman Baldy, and Rickey who are working hard and doing BIG THINGS. Black Boys Rock and You Know THIS MAN!
