I am just starting. I do not currently have an email list, but I’m ready to get started. I want to know the best way to start, what tools to use and how to setup landing pages and forms that attract leads and customers.

“Your List is your most essential business asset. It is comprised of your clients, fans, followers, readers, customers, associates and partners. These are the people you want to build relationships with, stay connected to, share offers with and ideally get excited about sharing your business with the world.”
If you are actively marketing and have an email list, at the very least you should average $1 per month per person on your list. That means 1000 subscribers should average you a return of about $1000 per month, which is $12000 per year.
Following this formula, if you have 5000 people on your list and average $5000 a month from email marketing that is $60000 a year.
If you have 10000 people on your list, that should translate into an average of $10K in sales per month from email marketing, which would be $120000 per year just from your list. And that’s the ultimate goal boss.
How profitable is your list?
Most entrepreneurs are looking to consistently make at least six figures and create their own sustainable streams of income. But very few entrepreneurs focus on list building enough to reach their desired income goals.
Your goal should be to get to your first 1000 subscribers and then build to at least 10,000 subscribers that you can communicate with independent of paid advertising, live events, social media algorithms and all the other things you do way more than email, but when they stop (and you can’t do them), your sales stop too.
Putting more effort into growing your email list by strategically using landing pages more could be your missing piece to generating steady sales.
