The Body Builders Guide to Building a Successful Business

The video above is entitled, The Body Builders Guide to Building a Successful Business. After living with my hubby for several years I’ve learned a few things about Body Building, which I’ve applied to my business.

(1) Lifting weights hurts, but it’s all about tearing those muscles to make them bigger and stronger. In short, pain is good. All the obstacles, struggles, mistakes, and frustrations make you stronger, make you better, and ultimately help your business grow.

(2) I was never one for dieting, but for bodybuilders consistency is key. He has to work out at the same times every day, he has to eat the same things and monitor to make sure is calorie intake is always consistent. Your business needs the same type of consistency as far as your time, energy, and personal investment. Don’t start today and look for money tomorrow. To make money online (consistently) you have to change your mindset to think not simply about making money for right now but building a long term business. Look to the future and consistently work towards getting there.

(3) Body Building is a one person sport. When a body builder is not working out as he/she should, they hurt their chances of looking the best and being the best. There is no ‘I’ in team, but as entrepreneurs we all know that we often work in teams of one. If you are not right, your business won’t be right either. If you need to become a better marketer, do that. If you need to invest in people to help or support you in your business or even with your family and kids, make it happen. When you become a successful entrepreneur you can then turn your “army of me” into a thriving small business team.
