Work on building your own personal tribe of loyal fans, customers, partners, and supporters. Start by creating a community online in the form of a strong email list and active social following. Whether you love or hate social media you can not ignore that fact that word of mouth marketing online turns no-name entrepreneurs into overnight success stories every day. The only way this truth can impact your bottom line is if you consistently create and contribute to conversations online that are of interest to your target audience. If you want more people to get excited about your business stay connected, take the time to check in more with your fans and followers (however small your current list may be). Out of their engagement and support your community will be born and your tribe will grow.
